04 - 4 large eggs, at room temperature

→ Flavorings

05 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
06 - 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
02 - Combine dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl placed over simmering water. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Whisk in granulated sugar until dissolved. Add eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition.
04 - Stir in vanilla extract and sea salt until fully blended.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
