# Expert tips:

01 -
  • It comes together in minutes with ingredients you probably already have, no cooking required.
  • The tanginess of Greek yogurt plays so well with fresh herbs—it tastes homemade in the best way possible.
  • You can feel good serving it to people you care about because it's naturally lighter without sacrificing creaminess.
02 -
  • Fresh herbs are non-negotiable here—they're what separate this from tasting like a powdered seasoning packet.
  • Don't skip the refrigeration time; this dip genuinely tastes better after sitting because the flavors soften and blend together beautifully.
03 -
  • Taste the dip before refrigerating and season it just a touch more than feels right—flavors mellow as it chills, so err on the generous side with salt and pepper.
  • If you're making this ahead for a party, chop your herbs right before mixing rather than prepping them hours earlier, so they stay vibrant and don't darken.
